One home for everything the project produces.
A project’s files usually live in three places and none of them agree. LODE keeps one taxonomy: the record — the current drawings, specs, and compiled outputs; the issuances that built it; and the working files around it. Everything filed by what it is, findable by what it says.
This is a tab on every LODE project, not a separate product. Files runs on the same record the drawings live on — nothing is exported to it, nothing drifts from it.

The compiled outputs
The Field Set and the Revision Record Set — drawings, specs, and sheet index — always the single latest, regenerated on every issuance. Download and go.
Filed by kind
RFIs, submittals, sketches (SK), photos, references — every file carries what it is, so the project’s paper sorts itself.
Folders that behave
Drag and drop, multi-select, real folder structure for the working material — organization without a filing protocol nobody follows.
Search that finds it
Search across names and inside file text, project-wide. The submittal you half-remember from March is a query, not an afternoon.
Nothing vanishes silently
Recently Deleted is pinned and visible — deletion is a decision you can see and walk back, not an accident you discover in a meeting.
The outputs are the point.
Everything in Files exists so two documents can always be true: the Field Set — only current sheets and sections, clean, buildable — and the Revision Record Set, the full history in one document. Both regenerate on every issuance, both carry the sheet index, and neither ever depends on someone remembering to rebuild them.
