Yes. Every account starts with 30 days of Solo free: one active project, everything Solo does, no card. That is enough to put a real drawing set through it and see what comes out. Pick a plan during the trial or after it.

Room. The compiler, markup and live review, bidding through closeout, Sketch Paper and guest links are on every plan. What changes is how many active projects, seats, gigabytes and Loupe messages you get. Two Loupe features are the exception: reading your specification text needs Field or above, and asking Loupe about a drawing needs Studio.

Your files stay for as long as your subscription is active. If you need to stop paying, Archive (from $9/mo, priced by the plan you are leaving) keeps the account while it runs. Archive is download-only: you can export the whole account, or restore to a paid plan and get everything back as it was, but projects stay closed. Archive keeps everything, cheaply, in deep cold storage, and getting it back takes 12 to 48 hours - which is exactly why it costs a fraction of a live plan. Your drawings move into deep cold storage when Archive starts, so an export or a restore takes time to prepare. Ask for either whenever you like and we email you the download link when it is ready, usually within 12 to 48 hours. Projects, revisions, annotations, comments and registers stay in the database and come back at once. Cold storage is also a per-project choice on any paid plan, with the same retrieval time, and the app says so before you do it. If you cancel Archive, or cancel outright, the data is kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted. There is no pause.

Yes. Submittals and attachments a contractor uploads through the portal are stored on your project, so they count toward your storage the same way your own files do. The contractor portal says so too. A busy submittal log can use storage quickly, so it is worth knowing before it surprises you. You can add capacity without changing plan.

It is built for construction drawing sets in PDF. Any PDF works. Sheet detection is most accurate on drawings exported from CAD or BIM; scanned sets go through OCR instead.

When Loupe is on, the text extracted from your sheets and the document metadata are sent to generate answers and summaries. Nothing is kept beyond that session, and nothing is used to train a model.
