Frequently asked questions
Yes. The Free plan gives you one active project, up to 5 revision issuances, and 5 Ask Doc queries per month — no credit card required. It's enough to run a real project through the full workflow and see exactly what Lode produces.
Your files are stored securely for as long as your subscription is active. If you need a break, you can pause your plan for up to a month. After that, your files move to our archive tier (starting at $5/mo) where they’re preserved indefinitely. If you fully cancel, you can download all your files first — after that, data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
Lode is optimized for construction drawing sets in PDF format. It works with any PDF, though sheet detection accuracy is highest with digitally produced drawings. OCR fallback handles scanned sets.
When Doc is enabled, your drawings are processed to generate a revision summary. They are not stored beyond that processing session and are never used for model training of any kind.
